*_Position Emphasis:_*
This full-time, University Staff (non-classified) position will be responsible for supporting the human resources needs and functions of the Department of Neurology. This HR Professional will assist with recruitment, hiring, time collection, onboarding, off-boarding, performance evaluations and all other duties as assigned while ensuring compliance with federal, University, and departmental policies. This position will also assist in the coordination of all faculty affairs processes. This HR Professional will work closely and collaboratively with the Department of Director of Finance and Administration, Neurology Business Services Program Directors and HR Program Manager.

The hiring salary for this position is commensurate with skills and experience. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation.

A bachelor's degree inin Human Resources, Business, Public Administration, Healthcare Administration, Communications or related field from an accredited college or universityand 1 year ofprofessional experience working in a human resources and/or academic healthcare setting.
*Substitution*: A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year for year basis, but not for the specific experience.

* Two (2) or more years' of experience working in a higher education institution.
* Experience working in an academic medical center.
