**We're seeking a Legal Assistant, Corporate Governance, based in our Englewood, Colorado office (global headquarters)** .In this role, you willto provide professional administrative support for the legal staff and lawyers in the Corporate Governance and Securities organization. This role requires suitable experience and a high level of confidence to interact with public company directors and executive management within the company. Ideally, you could also assist in maintaining and managing the Company's corporate entities.

+ Perform general and legal administrative support for three or more lawyers and one or more paraprofessionals

+ General administrative duties include, but are not limited to, scheduling director and executive meetings, arranging appointments, travel and meetings, expense reports, check requests, reception, and other administrative and recordkeeping functions

+ General knowledge within the legal function and strong analytic skills, use of initiative and some independent judgment

+ Access to highly confidential information

+ Knowledge of basic operations of the legal function and corporate policy, and may be called upon to interpret and communicate the lawyer's intent to others

+ May prepare and update legal documents with guidance from a lawyer

+ May act as a liaison with outside counsel

+ Work closely with other paralegals and attorneys on various tasks relating to subsidiary entity management, including annual report and trade name filings in the United States and Canada, working with the HCue subsidiary management tool, corporate record books maintenance, and tracking due dates for board meetings and annual report filings

+ Support departments such as compliance, tax and treasury in various corporate governance matters, as necessary, by assisting in the completion of compliance, tax and bank account requirements and filings when information required is maintained by the corporate secretary, obtaining certified copies of corporate documents, and obtaining apostille and foreign authentication

**What you will need to succeed:**

+ Typically, a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a law firm or corporate legal department as a legal secretary or administrative assistant with 3 to 5 years' experience supporting executive management

+ Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion

+ Excellent interpersonal skills, professional demeanor and ability to interact with all levels internal and external to the organization

+ Must be highly organized and have great attention to detail

+ Excellent written and verbal skills, with ability to complete basic drafting, edit and proofread

+ Ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities while maintaining high degree of accuracy
